Nestled in the heart of untouched Africa, Wildtrack Safaris Eco Lodge is an exclusive lodge that offers more than just bush safari. It’s uniquely situated in the centre of the newly-formed Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area — the largest of its kind in the world. This choice destination not only combines luxury with fantastic food and personalised service, it also offers visitors the opportunity to experience the peaceful and dynamic culture of Botswana first-hand.
Eleven thatched suites are individually styled and themed to reflect the rich and diverse tapestry that is Africa. Each comes furnished with an extra-large king-size bed made up in crisp, white linen and offers an en suite bathroom with a natural stone bath. A private outdoor rain shower provides panoramic views, allowing guests to be fully at one
Visitors can take time to relax on the lush, tree-filled lawns, or cool off in the sparkling swimming pool while sipping on a sundowner as the sky sets ablaze with colours. After a gourmet dinner, the boma (traditional shelter) is the perfect spot to relax, overlooking the waterhole, or simply lie back, taking in the splendour of the skies as the sounds of the African bush come alive.
Wildtrack Safaris Eco Lodge has a range of activities on offer, including morning and sunset drives in open-top 4WD s, guided bush walks and interactive tours within the community of Pandamatenga. Guests are given the opportunity not only to observe, but to contribute towards ongoing community enrichment programs. Trips to the Chobe National Park and Hwange National Park can also be arranged while at Wildtrack.
The lodge aims at all times to minimise its impact on the environment, while encouraging sustainable development and promoting conservation. The entire place is solar-powered, all hot water is supplied by solar geysers, and waste is recycled, treated and returned to the environment safe and clean. Wildtrack Safaris Eco Lodge is proud to have been recognised by Botswana as a leading eco lodge, having recently been awarded full ‘Ecotourism’ grading — the highest certification to be awarded to lodges across the country.
