Prize of a lifetime winner announced
The Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race photography competition, run in association with National Geographic Traveller UK, drew interest from thousands of enthusiasts from around the world Р but only one could scoop the prize of a lifetime.
The chance to photograph the world's last wild race in Chilean Patagonia saw a high quality range of entries and after a tough task for the competition's three judges we are pleased to announce Scott Clark as the winner.
Competition judge and National Geographic Traveller UK art editor Chris Hudson said: "The entries were of a pretty high standard and many of the entries demonstrated a lot of experience in the field while others showed a lot of promise. The top entries stood out for the ability to capture a stunning scene as well as displaying flashes of ability to capture a moment in time."
This yearХs Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race begins on February 8th in one of the last true wilderness regions on the planet and Scott Clark will follow the race through the fjordlands of Chilean Patagonia. His images from the experience will appear in National Geographic Traveller UK later this year.
