The first prize is two places on Discover the World's self drive holiday, National Parks and Natural wonders nine-night itinerary, plus two return (economy) Icelandair flights from Heathrow, Manchester or Glasgow, valid for travel between April and September 2012 and subject to availability. The prize includes airport transfers, nine nights’ accommodation on a B&B basis, plus car hire on an unlimited mileage basis. In addition to Discover the World’s comprehensive Iceland information pack, the winner will receive ‘Landmark Guide: Iceland’ (RRP £9.99) and a Road Atlas (RRP £22).
The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative will be offered. All incidental expenses are the responsibility of the prize-winner. Prize does not include petrol, personal spending money and travel insurance. The winner should purchase personal travel insurance prior to travel to Iceland and ensure they have a valid passport and UK driving license. There are no runners-up prizes. The winner will be bound by Discover the World’s normal booking conditions.
The competition is open to residents of the UK. Entrants must be over the age of 18. The competition is not open to employees and associates of Discover the World, Icelandair or Absolute Publishing Ltd, or their families. Closing date is 16 March 2012 at 11:00am GMT. Winners will be notified within 10 days of closing and details of the competition winners will be published in the May/June edition of National Geographic Traveller (UK) 2012.
