NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC TRAVELLER arrived in the UK in December 2010, further expanding the reach of the brand — National Geographic Traveler (US) — as one of the most widely read magazines in the world. Part of the National Geographic family, the US edition was created in 1984, and carries the theme, ‘All Travel, All the Time’. The UK edition became the 15th international edition to join the family which has already reached over 21 countries.

National Geographic Traveller (UK) aims to live up to, and exceed, the brand expectations of the flagship travel magazine of the National Geographic Society — which has not only travelled the globe but also been a pioneer in its exploration for 113 years. Our mission will aim to continue the theme of storytelling with ‘you are-there’ photography to inspire readers; and insightful, reader-friendly information to enable readers to travel widely and safely.

CONTENT Features will be designed to inspire readers to pick up and go — and provide them with the tools to do so. National Geographic Traveller will be the voice of writers who love to travel, inspiring our readers to travel. It will be equally passionate about experiencing the world, championing sustainable travel and celebrating journeys about place, experience and authenticity from a local or cultural perspective. And, of course, it will feature outstanding photography.
